Lifeline is an emergency telephone link to a monitoring center that is
activated by a subscriber pressing a button on a pendant that is worn around
the neck. The subscriber can then speak with a trained specialist about
his/her problem and can get appropriate help, ranging up to the arrival of
emergency medical personnel, police or firefighters. SPAN will install a
Lifeline Emergency Response System for a one time installation fee of $25 and
maintain the system for $30 per month.
Senior Paws
The goal of Senior Paws is to support the needs of our Meals
on Wheels clients by providing monthly pet food supplements. Senior Paws
will help to ensure that seniors are not sharing their hot lunches with
their beloved companions when they are unable to afford enough pet food.
